This is Sandy. She was our 5 1/2 year old collie. She loved going on walks. However she was very strong and usually pulled which put a strain on my hand and arm. We purchased a "fancy, no pull" harness designed to alleviate the pulling problem...but it didn't phase her at all and she continued to pull. So after awhile, I decided to use one of my 2" martingales on her. Talk about a 100% change! She no longer pulled wearing this collar. The gentle tightening action was truly enough to correct her from pulling. I can honestly recommend this collar for dogs who pull. It certainly worked on Sandy. It comforted her as well as me -- a total win/win situation. Going on walks was a pleasant endeavor after I used the martingale collar.
